In a statement issued on Tuesday by his Secial Assistant on Digital Media, Mansur Man’ash, following the recent cabinet reshuffle, Dangiwa described his time in office as both a privilege and a call to national service, noting that he was honoured to lead reforms in the housing and urban development sector.
“I sincerely thank Mr. President for the confidence he reposed in me to serve as Honourable Minister of Housing and Urban Development. It has been a rare privilege to contribute to policies and programmes aimed at expanding access to affordable housing for Nigerians,” he said.
Dangiwa highlighted key achievements recorded during his tenure, including the rollout of the Renewed Hope Housing Programme, efforts to strengthen public-private partnerships, and reforms in land administration and housing finance. He noted that these initiatives helped position the housing sector as a driver of economic growth, job creation, and social inclusion.
The former minister also commended members of the Federal Executive Council, ministry staff, and stakeholders across the housing value chain for their support and collaboration.
He assured of a smooth transition in line with the President’s directive and expressed confidence in the incoming leadership to sustain and build on existing progress.
Dangiwa reaffirmed his commitment to national development, pledging continued support for initiatives that promote housing, infrastructure, and economic growth in Nigeria.
