The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has released the final list of successful candidates for appointment into the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Customs II (ASC II) in its 2024/2025 recruitment exercise.
In a statement issued on Monday by the Deputy Comptroller of Customs and National Public Relations Officer on behalf of the Comptroller-General of Customs, Abdullahi Maiwada, the Service advised applicants to visit the official Nigeria Customs Service website or check selected national newspapers to verify their recruitment status and obtain information on the next phase of the exercise.
According to the NCS, successful candidates will also receive notifications through their registered email addresses and SMS, detailing the next steps in the recruitment process.
The Service said candidates are required to log on to the recruitment portal using their National Identification Number (NIN) or registered email address to upload a valid Medical Certificate of Fitness issued by a government-recognised hospital.
It added that the portal for uploading the medical certificates will become active on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, and candidates must complete the process within one week of the portal's activation.
The Customs Service further directed successful applicants to update their current state of residence on the portal and formally accept their provisional offer of appointment by selecting the "Accept Offer" option.
According to the statement, candidates who complete the required procedures will subsequently receive their Trainee Identification Number within one week, while details of documentation, physical screening, screening venues and other requirements will be communicated through official channels.
The Service warned that failure to comply with the prescribed guidelines or complete any stage of the recruitment process within the stipulated timelines could result in disqualification and forfeiture of the provisional offer of appointment.
On behalf of the Nigeria Customs Service Board, the Comptroller-General of Customs congratulated all successful candidates, urging them to uphold professionalism, integrity and dedication to national service as they prepare to join the Service.
