Nigeria Customs Debunks Fake Recruitment Notice, Urges Public to Use Official Channels

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has dismissed a recruitment update circulating on some social media platforms as false, warning members of the public against falling victim to misinformation.

In a public advisory issued on Thursday, the Service clarified that the purported recruitment notice did not originate from the NCS and should be disregarded.

The Service urged Nigerians to rely only on information released through its official communication channels for authentic updates on recruitment and other activities.

To avoid being misled, the NCS advised the public to verify information through its verified social media platforms, including Facebook (Nigeria Customs Service), Instagram (@customsng), X (formerly Twitter) (@customsng), Threads (@customsng), and TikTok (@customsng).

The Service also appealed to members of the public to remain vigilant and confirm the authenticity of information before sharing it.
