The exercise, which benefited a total of 1,126 employees, forms part of the company's strategy to build a customer-centric, high-performing electricity distribution company with global standards and Pan-African ambitions.
According to AEDC management on Sunday, the promotions and Step Increments, approved by the company's management, recognise employees who demonstrated exceptional commitment, professionalism and outstanding performance in advancing the organisation's strategic objectives.
Commenting on the development, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of AEDC, Chijioke Okwuokenye, described the exercise as another milestone in the company's people transformation agenda.
He said the company remained committed to recognising excellence, nurturing talent and creating opportunities for career advancement.
"Our people remain our greatest asset and the foundation upon which AEDC's future will be built. Today's announcement is more than a reward for performance; it is a reaffirmation of our belief that excellence should always be recognised, talent should be nurtured and hard work should create opportunities for growth," Okwuokenye said.
