The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that the passing-out ceremony for the 2025 Batch 'B' Stream I Corps Members will take place on Thursday, July 9, 2026.
According to a statement issued by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline W. Embu, activities leading up to the passing-out exercise commenced on June 23, 2026.
The pre-discharge programme includes Job Advisory and Counselling (JAC) sessions organized by the NYSC in collaboration with relevant agencies, registration and clearance of corps members by Local Government Inspectors (LGIs), as well as the signing of final clearance documents by Zonal Inspectors.
The NYSC stated that the low-key ceremony would involve the distribution of Certificates of National Service to eligible corps members across all local government areas in the country.
The Director-General of the Scheme, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, congratulated the outgoing corps members and wished them a successful winding-up and passing-out exercise.
He urged them to uphold the core values of the NYSC and remain worthy ambassadors of the Scheme as they transition into the next phase of their lives.
The NYSC reiterated its commitment to preparing young Nigerians for national development and responsible citizenship through the one-year mandatory service programme.
