The 60km race will start at Dolphin Loop, go through Osborne Road, Ring Road, Third Mainland Bridge, Iyana Oworo, Gbagada Expressway, Oshodi Oke, and MMIA Underbridge (U-turn), before returning to Dolphin Estate as the finishing point.
Alternative Route according to a statement by the Lagos State Commissioner for Transportation, Mr. Oluwaseun Osiyemi, on Saturday, said; motorists from Ikeja and nearby areas going to Victoria Island will make use of Ikorodu Road to Funsho Williams Avenue to link Eko Bridge and connect Outer Marina to continue their journeys.
Motorists from Lagos–Ibadan Expressway (Mowe and environs) will pass through Ojota Slip Road to Ikorodu Road to link Funsho Williams Avenue and connect Eko Bridge to continue their commitment journeys, while third Mainland Bridge will be open to motorists from Mainland to Island and back from Island to Mainland, with movement managed to allow race flow.
The statement said that all side roads along the route will be opened intermittently as the race moves forward.
On traffic information, it said; some roads, junctions, and intersections along the race route will be partially closed to traffic during the event, while police and LASTMA Officers will be on duty to guide motorists and ensure safety.
"No road will be completely closed. Vehicles will be allowed to pass at intervals as the race progresses.
"Motorists are advised to plan their trips early, use alternative routes, and be patient during the race period. The temporary diversions are to ensure a safe and successful cycling event."
