The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) is strengthening collaboration with its member states' Chambers of Commerce and Industry to promote regional economic growth.
This commitment was emphasized during a two-day training seminar held in Lagos, Nigeria, on the May 5th and 6th of May,2025. ECOWAS aims to foster a supportive environment for entrepreneurship, innovation, and job creation.
Commissioner Massandjé Touré-Litse highlighted the private sector’s crucial role in achieving sustainable development across the region and encouraged stakeholders to take full advantage of this opportunity to improve citizens’ living standards.
