TCN Restores Power Supply At Apo Transmission Substation

By Stella Odueme

The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has restored the 100MVA power transformer at the 132/33kV Apo Transmission Substation following an outage earlier on Wednesday.

The transformer, which tripped in the morning, was returned to service at about 7:33pm after comprehensive testing and maintenance were successfully carried out.

TCN said the restoration has also brought the affected 33kV feeders—H31, H33, H35 and H37—back into service.

Consequently, bulk power supply to customers of the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) connected to the affected feeders has been fully restored.

The company appreciated customers for their patience and understanding during the period of the outage.

TCN reiterated its commitment to maintaining reliable and stable electricity transmission across the country.
