Easter: NYSC DG Urges Corps Members To Embrace Sacrifice, Unity

The Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has called on corps members and staff to embody the values of sacrifice, renewal, hope, and love as they celebrate the Easter season.

In an Easter message released by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, the NYSC boss described the season as a period for deep reflection on virtues that align with the core mandate of the Scheme.

He urged corps members to demonstrate these values in their daily conduct and interactions, noting that they are essential to fostering national unity and peaceful coexistence.

The Director-General further encouraged all members of the NYSC family to remain committed to selfless service, mutual respect, and the promotion of unity across the country’s diverse cultural landscape.

According to the statement, collective resolve and a shared sense of purpose among corps members would significantly contribute to building a more peaceful, united, and prosperous Nigeria.

The NYSC DG also expressed hope that the spirit of Easter would renew the strength of corps members and staff, deepen their commitment to service, and inspire a sense of fulfillment.

He reaffirmed the Scheme’s enduring message: “Nigeria is ours; Nigeria we serve,” while wishing all corps members and staff a happy Easter celebration.
