The resolve to prevent the emergence of aboworring single dominant presidential candidate (APC/BOLA AHMED TINUBU) within opposition ranks is being framed as a necessary corrective step to safeguard democracy and ensure broader representation.
Acccording to the Chieftain of the ADC, Ikechukwu Cornelius Anonye, on Sunday, this development comes against the backdrop of growing economic concerns under the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Despite the removal of fuel subsidy—widely justified as a reform to strengthen public finances—the government has continued to engage in substantial borrowing. This trend raises legitimate questions about fiscal sustainability and whether the intended benefits of subsidy removal are being realized.
