Goodluck Jonathan Arrives Côte D'Ivoire Ahead Of Saturday's Election

 

Nigerian Former President, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and  other members of the West African Elders Forum (WAEF) Election Mission have arrived Abidjan, the Côte D'Ivoire’s capital ahead of Saturday poll.

Announcing their via his Facebook handle, Jonathan expressed hope that engagement with stakeholders will be fruitful in solidarity with the people of the Republic of Cote d'Ivoire, in line with WAEF's mission of supporting efforts toward peaceful, credible, and inclusive electoral processes in the subregion.

"I arrived in Abidjan this afternoon with other members of the West African Elders Forum (WAEF) Election Mission, ahead of Côte d'Ivoire’s presidential election scheduled for Saturday October 25, 2025.

"We look forward to fruitful engagements with stakeholders in solidarity with the people of the Republic of Cote d'Ivoire, in line with WAEF's mission of supporting efforts toward peaceful, credible, and inclusive electoral processes in the subregion."
