As the accusations and counter accusations unfold over alleged sexual harassment in Nigeria's National Assembly, the Senator representing Kogi Central at the Senate, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has told the wife of the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, Unoma, to stay out of the allegations of sexual harassment and intimidation she made against her husband.
According to the lawmaker, her motion was denied because she refused to yield to the Senate president's sexual advances towards her.
The Kogi-born senator opened up on the allegation on Friday while fielding questions on the Arise Television Morning Show programme where she accused the Senate President of the said alleged sexual harassment.
However, in her reactions, wife of the Senate President, Unoma said Sen. Natasha's accusations are basedless and an attempt to drag her husband's name to the mud.
Unoma stated on Friday that Natasha is only “creating content for personal gains”.
